1st Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry for South-East Europe May 4 - 8, 2008., Crveni otok (St. Andrew's Island), Rovinj, Croatia

The 1st Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry for South-East Europe (RSE-SEE) was supported by electrochemical/chemical societies of Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro and sponsored by the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) and other sponsors. The 1st RSE-SEE was dedicated to the memory of the late Academician Dragutin Dražić, University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia, the President of the Scientific Committee of RSE-SEE, who passed away in the beginning of 2008.

RSE SEE 2 was organized by Electrochemical section of the Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers


For the first time in an European conference on electrochemistry, a short course (charge free) was held, this time on Fundamentals of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. This highly visited course was managed by Tamás Pajkossy, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary
